OH We were given this tomato by our friend and gardener Louise Phillips. And what a surprise it was to find how many grape shaped cherry tomatoes one plant can produce! Having huge clusters of fruit with sometimes as many as 75 tomatoes per cluster! Not to be disappointed in flavour as they are delicious and super sweet! This will become a garden regular for us and we highly recommend trying it. Not much is known about the origins of this small wonder, some suggest Hungary or Mexico as its birthplace. Indeterminate.
Sow in August into trays in a glasshouse. Keep soil temp at 18-20°C for ideal germination. Prick out when true leaves appear to 4cm diagonal spacing. Pot on to small pots to further develop roots. Transplant after last frost to 40cm diagonal spacing into fertile ground in direct sun. Benefits from small amount of thinning/pruning.
