Poppy - Hungarian Blue Breadseed

OH A stunning purple flower producing large heads containing many large blue seeds ideal for baking.  Easy to grow and a prolific sellf seeder like most poppies. Dried seed pods make attractive additions to floral arrangements. Traditionally, grown for its seeds to eat, why not try growing your own poppy seeds to add to your favourite bread recipe. Annual.

Sow in early Spring or Autumn into trays and prick out to 4cm diagonal spacing when true leaves appear. Transplant to 20cm diagonal spacing into fertile soil. Otherwise direct scatter sow into strips at end of rows or borders.
