Tomato Black Pear

OH Originally from Siberia this is a medium sized pear shaped dark pink/greenish colour tomato which almost looks black at a glance. Prolific cropper and does well in shorter season cooler areas. Outstanding flavor, great in salads, sandwiches, or can be used for making sauce. Indeterminate. Frost Tender.

Sow in August into trays in a glasshouse. Keep soil temp above 18°C for ideal germination. Prick out when true leaves appear to 4cm diagonal spacing. Transplant after last frost to 40cm diagonal spacing into fertile ground in direct sun. Stake and de-lateral as needed.
